MEET THE 2022 NAVY LEAGUE NATIONAL PRESIDENT’S AWARD WINNERS 

Extraordinary people do extraordinary things by impacting lives around them through their selfless actions, motivational words and empathy. We have many of them within the Navy League of Canada and every year, we are able to recognize a selected few through the Navy League National President’s Awards.  
 

The Navy League National President’s Awards is an annual opportunity to celebrate and honour the thoughtful, and on-going contributions from exceptional Cadets and Volunteers who have shown a high degree of participation and leadership in the area of citizenship and have enhanced the aims and objectives of the Navy League of Canada programs in their communities 
 

This year, we are proud to introduce the 2022 winners as follow:  

Navy League Member of the Year – Mr. Greg Amy (Saskatchewan) 

Navy League Officer of the Year– Lt. (NL) Thor Weidenbacher (Manitoba) 

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Officer of the Year – LCdr. Shaun Tofsrud (British Columbia Mainland) 

Legion Sea Cadet of the Year – CPO2 Mackenzie Nolan (Ontario) 

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet of the Year – CPO1 Colin Douglas (British Columbia Mainland) 

Music Sea Cadet of the Year – CPO1 Kathleen Rowan (Nova Scotia Mainland)
