NL Cadet Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct is for all Navy League Cadets. It helps make sure everyone is safe, happy, and has fun while learning together. You are responsible for taking care of yourself and being kind to others. As a Navy League Cadet, others may look up to you and follow what you do-so try to set a good example. Always remember your Cadet Promise.To help keep everyone safe and respected, I will always:
- Use kind and respectful words (no swearing).
- Be polite and treat others nicely.
- Avoid jokes or comments that could hurt someone’s feelings.
- Think before I act and make safe choices.
- Follow the rules during all activities.
- Speak up if something doesn’t seem safe.
- Help stop bullying by telling a trusted adult right away.
- Say “no” if something makes me feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
- Ask a trusted adult for help if I feel worried, scared, or unsure.
- Be a good leader and not misuse my influence over others.
- Remember that I deserve to feel safe, respected, and happy.
